Dance Classes
We are currently taking a break from dance classes. The children and parents alike have enjoyed the classes and have been able to see the children perform dance routines.
Art Camp
We completed two successful Art Camps at Transformations Autism Treatment Center during the summer of 2010. The campers were challenged to learn more about art as well as have a great time! Special thanks goes to our art teacher, Brandon Parker, his assistants and the camper who made this event a great success!
Thanks to Whole Foods Market for 5% Day
We wish to extend our appreciation for Whole Foods Market in East Memphis for making us the recipient of their 5% day in honor of April being Autism Awareness Month. Executive Director Tracy Palm and Director of Development John Holtzman were present in the store with a table displaying information about Transformations. We met many people in the community and shared with them about Transformations and the services we offer to the community. The staff at Whole Foods was very gracious and we appreciate the efforts of Liza Burke in helping us to make this event a great success.
Grand Opening & Silent Auction – A Great Success!!!
Transformations Autism Treatment Center wishes to extend its appreciation to all those who came to our event on April 10, 2010. Many people came from the community to tour our facility and learn about the services that we offer. We are also thankful for the story that appeared in the April 9th edition of the Commercial Appeal about the center titled “Reason for Hope” that was so skillfully written about Transformations and the services we provide to the community.
We appreciate all the businesses and individuals that supported our efforts and donated items and services for our silent auction. Without this support we would not be able to accomplish our mission to provide free and low cost services to children and families affected by Autism. Through this effort we were able to raise over 2300.00 for our scholarship fund.
This proves we all can make a difference in someones life.
